- We love to hear weekend news first thing on a Monday and this gives the children an opportunity to practise their speaking and listening skills . If you do something fun at the weekend and want to send in any photos for your child to share please send them to our email: year1@staffordleys.com.
- Please make sure reading books are in school every day with reading records (as we try to read as often as possible in class). Your child's books will be changed once a week. These books must be returned every Friday.
- Please ensure all your child's items are clearly named including all their clothing items.
- Your child should only bring in a water bottle and their school book bag into school.

Our P.E. Days are every Tuesday and Thursday.
On rare occasions, these days may vary. Your child's P.E. kit should be in school everyday and each item of clothing should be labelled with their name. Please ensure your child's earrings are not worn on P.E. Days.
